Since 1947, Congoleum has been making high quality flooring products in Trenton, New Jersey. As one of the most trusted brands for over 50 years, it’s no surprise that the newest innovation in flooring is made right here in America, by Congoleum.
Built with domestically sourced, eco-forward materials, CLEO lays a foundation of beauty and durability for any flooring project. CLEO is a new type of flooring experience—and a new way to think about the materials you install in your home. Congoleum founded CLEO on the premise that floors can be as beautiful and high-quality as they are sustainable.
Using only the best materials and latest designs, CLEO’S extensive team of talented designers, artists, and engineers are constantly fusing emerging trends into new concepts to bring a more personal touch to the place you call home.
There are still companies who care about what their floors are made of — and the footprint they create while building them. That’s why all CLEO products are 100% VOC-free, made with 85% American limestone, and fully manufactured in the USA.
CLEO is proud to support American jobs through domestic manufacturing. By only using abundant, domestically-sourced resources like American limestone, CLEO is able to produce floors that are not only well-made, but also eco-forward.
CLEO floors are 100% solvent-free and made with abundant and versatile materials like limestone instead of PVC, plasticizers, phthalates, or chloro-chemicals. Now you can enjoy high-end flooring that’s safe for the environment—and your family.
Most traditional flooring products are printed using a cylinder of the same repeating pattern, producing an effect that can look fake, especially in large rooms. CLEO’S advanced technology has created the most realistic luxury product on the market, with over 60 visuals in some designs, giving you a unique floor every time. “Right now the most high end, name brand flooring options offer great quality products, but the printed designs only span 10 to 15 unique visuals at the most,” noted a local interior designer. “To have a product that offers the durability of waterproof flooring with the breathtaking looks of authentic natural surfaces, well, that’s game changing.”
One of the coolest things about CLEO is that you can seamlessly blend wood and tile visuals together. Go from wood in the living room to tile or stone in the kitchen with no transition trims, just a seamless, level floor flowing from room to room. Add wood accents or borders in tile areas or insert tiles into wood for breathtaking medallions, the possibilities are endless. Wanting to try something bold, we blended the wood style Monterrey with the breathtaking deco tile Ellis on our display floor.
In a constantly growing market, the waterproof flooring category has not only gained immense popularity, it has became the leader in whole home flooring. With so many options on the market, how do you know which product is right for your home? “Ultimately, most of the waterproof flooring products are not only made from undisclosed materials, they are made by the cheapest bidders overseas. This means safety regulations and guidelines aren’t followed. It’s a race to produce the most product possible, as cheap as possible. There’s no focus on indoor air quality, chemical safety or the product itself. People want more, but there hasn’t been that option until now,” says a Congoleum representative. “Making this product in the USA ensures not only quality, but safety. Not to mention with the innovation that Congoleum is known for.”
CLEO floors are covered by a lifetime residential limited warranty, meaning they are guaranteed to be waterproof and will not wear through printed designs from normal household use.
If you are not satisfied with your CLEO floor within the first 60 days after it is installed, Congoleum will provide replacement CLEO material in the design of your choice and same quantity of your original purchase at no additional charge. CLEO-Adore Your Floor
